Summer Mushroom Approaching
This week, we're featuring a commonly overlooked ingredient: our "Smoked" and "Unsmoked" Trout Roe. With Vibrant colors, exquisite pop, and ever-so-gentle smoke this trout roe performs on the plate. Sourced from Denmark Browne Trading has been importing this product for years. The unsmoked version offers consistency and a visible edge over other roes. While the smoked version offers unique character from a cold smoke of applewood chips it imparts an almost sweet like flavor to the already mild saline eggs.
Expect a lively presence from these pearls and performance on the pass!
